Adriana Rifendifer is a compassionate and bilingual Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered mental health care. With over two years of experience in psychiatric nursing across inpatient behavioral health, detox, and substance use treatment settings, Adriana brings a well-rounded clinical background and a deep commitment to supporting patients on their path to wellness.
She earned her Associate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from Rasmussen University in Fort Myers, Florida, and completed her Master of Science in Nursing–Psychiatric Care at Wilkes University. Adriana is board certified as a PMHNP and holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and MAB.
Throughout her career, Adriana has provided care in diverse settings including crisis stabilization units, inpatient psychiatric units, and telehealth outpatient psychiatry. Her clinical expertise includes psychiatric assessment and diagnosis, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and substance use management.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Adriana is passionate about improving access to mental health services for underserved populations, reducing stigma around mental illness, and delivering culturally competent care that empowers patients across the lifespan.
Clinical Interests: Mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-informed care, substance use treatment, and holistic wellness approaches.
