With over 16 years of experience in clinical practice, I bring a comprehensive and compassionate approach to mental health care. I earned my degree from the University of South Florida in 2009 and hold additional credentials from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. I also completed Buprenorphine Waiver Training in 2018, enabling me to provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Buprenorphine/Naloxone for individuals struggling with opioid use disorder.
I believe that listening is one of the most powerful tools in mental health care. It sounds simple, but I’ve seen too many cases where patients were misdiagnosed—not because providers didn’t care, but because they didn’t take the time to ask the right questions. Listening deeply can be the difference between years of ineffective treatment for major depressive disorder and an accurate diagnosis of bipolar II disorder, which requires a different approach. As nurse practitioners, we are trained not only to diagnose and treat—but to see and understand the whole person.
My services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, brief therapy, and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) with Buprenorphine/Naloxone. Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis or looking for more effective support, my goal is to provide personalized care rooted in respect, expertise, and collaboration.
